NEW PATHOLOGY LABORATORY
We will be relocating to our new pathology laboratory this coming weekend and be opened for business on Monday 6th December 2004 at 71 Frederick Street. The telephone and fax contact numbers will remain unchanged.New request forms will be delivered this Friday 3rd December 2004 by our couriers. Please discard the old request forms or return to Launceston Pathology via our couriers.Urgent requests will be processed as usual during our relocation with assistance from the Launceston General Hospital Pathology Laboratory. We will commence our relocation at 10.00pm on Friday evening the 3rd December 2004 and we expect to be operational again by 12 noon on Saturday 4th December 2004 at 71 Frederick Street. The rooms at 159 St John Street will be open for the collection of specimens until 1.00pm on Saturday 4th December 2004. After this time our normal on-call service will cover this weekend period. There is ample patient parking at our new site with entry from 71 Frederick Street and exit via Canning Street.We would appreciate your co-operation during this period.
21 BRISBANE STREET COLLECTION ROOMS
We have closed our collection rooms at 21 Brisbane Street, Launceston.
Patients normally attending there should be informed to go to 71 Frederick Street.
WARFARIN DOSING SERVICE
As advised previously, as of December 2004 this service is no longer available. One of the pathologists may contact you about your patient(s) who continue to present to us for dosage advise, to discuss transition to your care.If we can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to call our pathologists or Practice Manager – John Millwood on 63 34 3636.
