VACUTAINER TUBE CHANGE
There is a significant colour change that you need to be aware of to our blood bank tube due to a label issue:-
Pink cap tube 6 ml, replaces the Mauve cap tube 10 ml.
The test involved are, Group/Hold, X-match, Antenatal group & antibodies.
Our couriers will provide your surgery with new tubes and tube colour chart guides and pick up all the old tube stock.
Existing Mauve cap tubes will still be accepted until a complete change over occurs.
